El Presidente Posted February 23 Posted February 23 How many here would take a "punt" on this box at 112 Euro *anyone who votes yes can sign up for private councelling 2
Chibearsv Posted February 23 Posted February 23 That box looks like it's been under water. I'll pass. 3
Popular Post westg Posted February 23 Popular Post Posted February 23 I think everyone is a little confused. The person is offering to give you a hundred and 12 Euro to take the box. Not to buy it. 5
JDoughty Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Maybe, but more for collector value/display with only a very remote chance that they have been stored decently enough to bring back to smokable life. Chances look good for total ruin of any potential to not taste like a dead donkey's tanned ballsack. Or at least just like musty old paper. Would not smoke, would maybe consider collecting depending on age and provenance. 1
NYGuido Posted February 24 Posted February 24 In the words of Randy Jackson, that's a no from me, dawg. 1
Puros Y Vino Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I've smoked about 5 Monte 5's from 1980. They've been great so this caught my attention. While the cigars here don't look too bad, the box tells a sad tale and is a big sign that these should be avoided. I'd spend $20 on this to see what could be saved.
barrygoodvibes Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Even if it looked perfect I'd pass. Montecristo is a brand that I actually HATE with more than 5 years of age on it. Loses all of my favorite notes. 1 1
