Popular Post El Presidente Posted Friday at 10:49 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 10:49 PM Great cigar deck session with the lads yesterday and it is always a great introduction to the weekend. Working on the boat and trailer today with my sons Ben and Tom as we head away on a fishing (barramundi) camping trip end of next week for a few days. I really don't expect to do any real work on the either boat and trailer. Grant, my brother-in-law is coming along with us on the trip and he is a gun camper/Mr Fix-it. Ben and Tom aren't too bad either given they had a mechanical Gumby as a father. I will do what I do best and offer to pay for a post lunch at the pub. Otherwise it will be newspapers and cigars/drinks this afternoon before a Mexican tortilla movie night outdoors with Dee. Sunday is parents day this week so we will herd all the extra oldies to the Bulimba pub for lunch. Dee's mum, my mum and dad and any invitees they decide to bring. Since I have a short week next week due to fishing, I will need to work a few hours Sunday but otherwise a relatively quiet and enjoyable weekend. Cigar wise I have been hoovering through the last of some aged Monte 2 which have been 94/95 per one. I see no reason to stop. For those in the Fat Bastid Competition we have a weigh in coming up! Stay on the course good people! 5
Popular Post Chas.Alpha Posted Friday at 11:17 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 11:17 PM It’s official: CAN vs. USA hockey Sunday morning, 08:10 EST. I’m making a post shortly that might/could/probably break an FOH rule that I should maybe be familiar with, but wtf. I figure the worst that can happen is I’ll get Banned for a Week! 🔨🔨🔨 The $1100 dollar tooth implant screw that they installed apparently didn’t take which they were quick to assess was a result of smoking, so they charged me another $300 to remove it. No cigars for me for at least 5-6 months. 😡 The nice dentist lady informed me that since I essentially have a hole from my mouth directly to my skull that smoking could lead to a condition she called “dry socket”, and most everyone says is no bueno. Thank God she didn’t say anything about drinking!!! 🍾🥂 Looking forward to the Champagne master class next month. I’m off to see if I get banned. 🔨 6 6
Popular Post JohnS Posted Friday at 11:56 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 11:56 PM It's going to be a warm weekend in my part of the world and so I will need to do my gardening (i.e. mainly lawn mowing) first thing in the morning or in the cool of the shade at the end of the day. A swim in the pool in this weather is very much a 'fait accompli'. My wife and I are also welcoming some dear friends who are visiting Australia from Germany, whom we haven't seen for a few years face-to-face. We're looking forward to catching up over dinner at a local restaurant, which is a personal favourite of ours. 10

Popular Post El Hoze Posted 23 hours ago Popular Post Posted 23 hours ago My wife and her sisters are at the Juan Luis Guerra concert in her hometown of Santiago, DR this weekend. This is like the Jets going to the Super Bowl for my wife. He is awesome live, and seeing him in Santiago will be amazing, but I am glad to be home with little buddy for a boys weekend. He just turned 7, I love a good boys weekend at this age. Fishing, pool, hot dogs and hamburgers, Legos, movies and popcorn (quick Sovereign Suns while grilling the dogs). Repeat. 10
Popular Post WestCoastSmokin Posted 19 hours ago Popular Post Posted 19 hours ago Baseball practice for my son tomorrow. His first, excited to see how he does with the other kids and if he enjoys it. After that either heading to a lounge or maybe just on our balcony to smoke with the wife. Sunday will be a relaxing family day. 5
BG318 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago F@#k. Just f#$kng f$$ck. Significant snow forecast which affects business, morale, and the never ending bursting plumbing pipes. At least the silver lining is, well, I haven't yet begun typing "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". Go spring! 1 2

Popular Post westg Posted 2 hours ago Popular Post Posted 2 hours ago Dropped the girls off at the beach for early an morning meditation class for an hour. My idea of torture as I can't sit still for 5 minutes. So I parked up in a little bay for a coffee and watched the world go by. What a gorgeous morning. Off to Clives (Miner) for some cigars and catch up with the Perth crew. Cohiba Piramides 2013, Punch Super Seleccion No 1 2007 , Por Larranaga Encatos 2007 . Some beautiful wines and champagne. The Cuban Cigar Gods shined upon us .Such an incredible day. Off to the markets and lunch with girls today. The weather hear is so grand. 5

I haven’t tried the Punch but the others are 2 of my top 5 all timers. Nice selection! Looks like an awful lot of clucking for a meditation class. Your method was much more effective I’m sure. 1
