Not one post beyond me even mentioned Saturday Night Fever I second your Saturday Night Fever mention. The others you just mentioned great too. Grease hasn't been mentioned at all either, a bit of a surprise for me. 2
gormag38 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago First one I thought of was Into the Wild. But you gotta be into the acoustic stuff. Personally I think Eddie Vedder nailed it. 2

Chucko8 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I enjoyed the Pulp Fiction sound track. For sure guardians of the galaxy also.
Mr. DD Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’m thinking Animal House, Apocalypse Now, Repo Man! Does ‘The Song Remains the Same’ count?
Ford2112 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Harold and Maude was another great one. Cat Stevens. Bud Cort just passed away too. Great movie as well.

Until the End of the World. Wim Wenders masterpiece. Oh yes, +1 for me on Until the End of the World. Title track is U2's most underrated song, it's perfect. For me, the below two scores/soundtracks are truly great. Trevor Jones did most of the heavy lifting on The Last of the Mohicans score. I think Randy Edelman filled in some gaps. John Powell does great work with small orchestras, and the first Bourne sequel was his best work. Be careful putting this on the car stereo while driving down the freeway, you'll end up driving 30 miles over the speed limit. 1
