When do you quit smoking your cigar.

I was just asking myself,after my cigar, where do you stop your cigar? Was it a GREAT CIGAR or just a good cigar ?? And all depending, when do you quit it ????

Guy, it's very simple, a great cigar I won't quit until I burn my lip, a good cigar when I'm about to burn my lip and an ok cigar when I can't hold it without burning my fingers.

A cigar that happens to be below average well, I don't have time for those 🧐

When it tells me to. Usually when the flavors I enjoy fade out.

Mike beat me to it, the cigar tells me when its done. When I am no longer enjoying it.

To the nub if it's great. Otherwise I'll stop if the flavours either disappear or get harsh.

It’s rare for me to put a cigar down before the absolute nub. If I do, it’s usually because of bad construction. I won’t fight with my cigar. If it’s an easy fix, no problem. Sometimes there’s no fix, mostly CC. Sometimes it’s because I’m just sick of it’s flavor. That’s also rare but almost always NC.

I'm in this club, too. I don't have a rule, taste & construction drive the experience. When it goes below what I'm enjoying it's time to let it go.

I’m in the “the cigar let's me know” camp, but almost always to the nub. If it gets put down sooner, either it has bored me or something unexpected (kids) requires my immediate attention.

Usually to the nub, if not great to the band, and if terrible either flavour or construction wise then when my patience can take no more (and oddly, that's only happened three times, and never with a Cuban cigar either).

99% Cubans only. So they get the full journey. On the odd occasion I do smoke a Non-Cuban (and I do ask for forgiveness). I find the finish incredibly short for the first half. They do flatten out and turn dirty for me. Highly unlikely to make two thirds through. That sickening taste tends to linger on my palate.
