He’s lucky its not worse. Joshua looked pretty awful (maybe due to layoff and not taking this to serious- well it was serious $$$$). I am just glass did not have to pay for this.  Although they well probably get my $ of Joshua v Fury, if it ever comes to be.

Fury will mop the floor with Paul.

Guess I need glasses, was too many spelling errors or auto fill ins not paying attention. Yes I agree, Fury should win, but it all depends on if he takes training seriously or just in to get $$.

Paul actually got hurt this fight & is gonna be laid up a bit. And Fury is even bigger than Joshua. Jake Paul is an influencer, NOT a boxer no matter how hard he tries to pose & train as one. No way he can hang with Fury unless Fury is heavily incentivized to carry the fight to the mid-to-late rounds. Fury just leaning on him for 3-4 rounds will wear him out.

My guess is we may see the Paul circus act 2-3 more times for paydays & that will be it. He's a bozo & not a serious fighter.

Sad that a formerly useful top-10 heavyweight was lowered into WWF style entertainment while still physically in his prime (not like this hasn't happened before!). Mentally Joshua is shot though, you could see his relief at surviving a fight against a YouTuber after the end.

Hopefully the era of Saudi cash won't descend into farce, so many good fights to be made between real contenders and a few future Hall of Famers (Inoue, Bivol and Usyk for starters).

Bad for boxing that this fight was sanctioned. The whole appeal was the prospect of someone getting killed rather than the prospect of a good fight. It would’ve done a lot of damage to the sport had Paul died. His conditioning wasn’t great either, which is stupid from a safety perspective and asinine considering how much he was paid.

I also think it was ridiculous the fight wasn’t stopped sooner - Paul couldn’t even keep his fists up after the second knockdown in the 5th. That’s dangerous in the ring against a good middleweight, let alone someone as powerful as Joshua. I can only surmise Paul told his corner not to throw in the towel for any reason. Either that or they’re incompetent fools who are fortunate they only cost their fighter a broken jaw and lost teeth. That last right hook was absolutely brutal - I was astonished he remained conscious.

Agree with that. He should still be sleeping.  The fact that he actually shouted out 'whoooa' as he was going down and his eyes opened up . He probably had all sorts before the fight and not the licorice type.
