Anyone here into the hubbly bubbly? Regular shisha smokers? Occasional? What’s your favourite flavour?

I recently had a guy tell me there’s some flavours with Cuban tobacco in it. Don’t believe the story for a second, but it’s got me curious to find some “cigar” flavours. Musthave do one, apparently Satyr do one too. Anyone dabbled?

My new pipe is in the air at the moment and will post when I get it. Also waiting to see if XKAH will have Black Friday sale and waiting to get one those. I think it’ll be a game changer for me, and reviews are mostly quite positive.

My current flavour of choice is 25% AF lemonade 75% AF Rose.

I haven’t done it since college. If you’ve been drinking, don’t ever hookah through milk! I don’t know how it works, because it doesn’t really make sense, but you feel fine smoking, but when you stand up you feel like walking on stilts…drunk.

I used to smoke 2-3x a week with my Tunisian friends a while ago but not so much anymore, maybe 3-4x a year with my brothers and their favorite tobacco brand would be Social Smoke (triple mint iirc).

For some reason, since I've started smoking cigarettes shisha smoke makes me cough, I just can't not inhale it which is funny given it's never been an issue with cigars 🤔

Got into hookahs a while ago. Even have a couple pipes in the shed. Not seen the light of day for ages though. The only flavour is double apple!

Have tried some others along the way, but always went back. So that's the only flavour I know now.

I like to smoke the hookah but it's incredible boring smoking one alone. Cigars are much better by oneself. Oddly, hookah tobacco is illegal in MA, but hashish is not.

There are some American made hookah tobaccos that are really good. I like any that are lower on nicotine. Hookah tobacco nicotine especially most Arab brands send me soaring.

The general flavors I like are apple, apricot, vanilla, or a combination of flavors. Like @ha_banos mentioned, the double flavors are great.

At first glance this looks like one of the richer college kids with a new fangled way to get high on the devils lettuce. Brings me back to this dude I knew who had a bag vaporizer. He made a lot of friends.

In all seriousness, that looks awesome and really convenient.

It’s called an xkah (look it up on YouTube, moasmokes is a good channel). There is a metal bowl that goes at the bottom filled with your shisha of choice. Then the top bit is a battery and screen. You set a temperature and away you go. No need for coals. It’s also controlling to temp, so no need for heat management. Which makes it suuuuuuper convenient to take anywhere with you. I absolutely hate lighting coals which is why I never really got into shisha until this device came along a few months ago. I will forewarn you to sit down when you are looking into the price. But hey. It’s cheaper than a box of cigars so I’m sure those on here won’t bat an eyelid at the price 😁

The hookah is a shishabucks cloud tank. A very good super stable travelish shisha. I say travelish because you can get vyro one or amotion roam which are much smaller and travel friendly but they’re pretty thin and hence can be tipped over.

Very cool indeed. Putting that on my wish list. Looks like less hassle than the coals and all that. No fussing trying to get it going.

Absolutely. No more dealing with coals for me.

The only real thing is time. With coals you can put your coals to light, then pack the bowl, setup the hookah etc. with this you have to setup hookah, pack your bowl, put it in then wait 15mins for it all to warm up to start smoking well. But yeah the trade off against the coals process is something I’m happy to live with.

Do you use it only when travelling or at home too? Do you feel it brings the same smoking experience as coals?

Home too. Let’s just say I don’t think I’ll ever setup the coal again unless there’s a big group of us and coal is probably better for that. I think it’s a cleaner smoke experience than coals. And much more consistent because there’s no heat management required as there is with coals and hmd.

so this is the hookah version of E-rig vs Torch discussion.

cool! :)

the rig above, with battery heated elements (atomizer?), is just like our dab rigs.
