El Presidente Posted Tuesday at 09:11 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:11 PM Your Best Cigar Experience of October 2025? That cigar that just stood head and shoulders above the rest. That cigar that you can still taste when you close your eyes. Your best cigar of the last 30 days Let us know
Popular Post JDoughty Posted Tuesday at 10:54 PM Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 10:54 PM I'm most excited right now to be tasting the Fabrica 005 cigars, so that's been most of my limited smoking time. Nothing has yet equaled that first Bond Roberts 109 #1, including subsequent sessions with the same cigar. Still aging and testing the boxes I have in hopes of recreating that truly magnificent experience. The other one I keep thinking about and tasting in my mind was that decadent dessert confection of a Piramide Corta Suave. Not intense, not complex, just purely pleasurable chocolate buttercream, rich cappucino, caramel, buttery shortbread cookie and warm toasty graham cracker. What fun to smoke! 8

Popular Post tbelle7 Posted yesterday at 01:33 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 01:33 AM Esplendidos @ LCDH Saigon. I don't know the box code / age but I assume it was young. Amazing flavors for a cigar "off the shelf". 15 1
Popular Post Gemini_Man Posted yesterday at 02:21 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 02:21 AM This '23 Rafael Gonzales Coronas de Lonsdale shocked me. Wasn't expecting much as the price is modest but man, just supercharged Cuban twang and perfect construction. 18
Popular Post JohnS Posted yesterday at 05:18 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 05:18 AM A humble EML Sep 2014 Por Larranaga Montecarlos. What can I say? It just delivered in every department! 16

Popular Post gormag38 Posted yesterday at 01:11 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 01:11 PM Been a relatively light month for me in terms of smoking but the one that certainly stood out was a RAT OCT 20 Siglo III. This cab is coming along beautifully. 13 1

Popular Post Ruggerpgh99 Posted yesterday at 01:43 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 01:43 PM My best cigar experience wasn't even a cigar I smoked. I have a great relationship with the local proprietor of my b&m, we talk a lot about cigars when I am in. I have a habit of bringing him in some smokes that he doesn't carry, he has a habit of handing me a cigar or two that he thinks might surprise me. Well, in my last gift bag was, among other things, a Fabrica 5 Petite corona. He sent me a text a few days later saying it was one of his best cigar smoking experiences of the whole year. I couldn't help but smile, to give someone with as much experience and access as he has to cigars that kind of experience was awesome. need to make sure I have more PC's on hand to share with friends in the future. 8
JDoughty Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago It's really tough to narrow it down to a single cigar so much as the fun of getting to taste a whole new (to me) brand of cigars at various points in their resting period. Tasting the evolution and sensory improvement of the blends over that relatively short period of time has been great fun all by itself and very educational. With a few not so good ROTT exceptions that improved drastically over 30 days, every one has been good and several have been memorably great. That's huge in a cigar brand. I'm a flavor chaser and what I appreciate most in a cigar are distinct and evolving flavor notes plus elegance and balance in the flavor structure and transitions over time. Texture and volume also matter in the overall sensory experience, as well as the quality of draw and burn. I don't actually care if the cigar is mild, medium or strong, though that will inform the order I smoke them in and how many I want to smoke in a day. If the flavor notes are distinct and not muddled, the balance of flavors is good and the structure is clear and consistent, that is a well made and enjoyable cigar. Very few brands achieve this consistently throughout their lines. Padron comes to mind at the top of the list. Davidoff used to be there, but a few too many of their newer blends have not been a good experience for me. Absolutely none of the consistently excellent brands have cigars at this price point! Neither is anyone else releasing cigars (that I know of, maybe some of you who buy more cigars and brands than I do can chime in) where you can taste so much evolution over 30 days. That's been an awesome learning tool for sensory assessment education and I highly recommend it. I bought a few extra fivers specifically to take that journey with. I have some nice ready to smoke CCs in my humidors, but they are getting neglected in favor of how much fun it is to keep tasting all the Fabrica 005 cigars at different resting points and taking notes on their evolution. Really the most memorable thing for me this month is continuing the discovery process for the entire Fab5/BR lineup. Way too much fun. 4

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted 21 hours ago Popular Post Posted 21 hours ago It was definitely the Viaje Birthday Blend I smoked on my fishing trip last month in camp. The setting and flavor were perfect. I wish I had snapped a photo of it but I was in the moment. Close second was this E2. Probably the best smoke of the month. 12

cnov Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I had a fantastic cigar on the 1st of the month. I remember that the September post of the month was up and I thought that this is definitely an October contender, alas it absolutely alludes me as to what it was. So much for not taking my phone out to relax, I'd have taken a photo otherwise. 2
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted 17 hours ago Popular Post Posted 17 hours ago No photo but the cigars my younger daughter and I each enjoyed on her wedding day was extra special. Very nice smoke, but having my daughter ask me to step away from the wedding activity and have a cigar with her was extra special. 2019 Reyes fit the occasion perfectly. 11 2
