Great question, West. I believe the NFL is trying to bring down the length of stoppage time nowadays. I know that MLB certainly have through the introduction of the pitch clock in 2023. The article below suggests that the average time for an NFL game is 3 hours and 12 minutes, for College Football it's 3 hours and 24 minutes. The Super Bowl averages around three-and-a-half hours. Consider that NFL is a game of four 15-minute quarters.

An average game of English Premier League Soccer, which consists of two 45 minute halves, goes for around 100 minutes (including average stoppage time added).

What an absolute cracker the Ravens Bills game was!! Commiserations to Ravens fans. Very tough one. However, bear in mind you possibly still feel slightly better than any Bills fan who left the stadium early.
