Midweek Shootout Poll - Over the past few months, we've sorted through our first Round of 32 cigars in this series and now have our Winners & Losers bracket matchups. 

This week sees the first of the winner's bracket match-ups  Partagas Serie E No.2 vs Cohiba Siglo V

Cohiba Siglo V. Don't listen to me though, I'm very biased when it comes to the Cohiba Siglo V as it was the hardest cigar for me to acquire whilst I was building my collection years ago.

Haven't had the pleasure of having a Cohiba yet, but my goodness, the E2s I've had have been stupendous, heavenly even. The first two I had were so good, I had to hide the rest from myself because I knew I'd smoke 'em all. E2, therefore, gets my vote. It's a top 3 for me.

2 top tier cigars for me. I love the E2's AND the V's. But given a choice...the V any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

My vote is for the Cohiba V not only because I like the vitola but it is a great cigar. I was able to obtain some in 2020 while in Havana and have rarely see them for sale since. The Party E2 is good but the V is great.

No contest and I like the E2. The Siglo V is glorious. The ultimate Dalias expression. Dream cigar.

E2 no question. I had a rational argument for them, but looking at everyone saying V, I'm compelled to die on hill E2 without explanation.

E2, good young, good with age, whereas Cohiba and I are still working out if we want to be friends. Like every goth girl I knew, more baggage than an airport carousel.

This was a really tough one. I love the E2. It's a classy cigar, with loads of flavor that is typically rolled well. My experience with the V has been limited to a few singles across multiple codes/years but they were amazing examples of what Cohiba can be (and in a Dalias format to boot). If I had to choose between the two it'd be the V almost every day of the week. The rarity factor comes into play as does the vitola. This is enough to put it over the top for me.

E2 is my favorite Partagas but Siglo V noses it out with a preferred size and more unique flavor profile of citrus and cream.
