Athens/Kythira/Mykonos/Dubrovnik/Split.......for those that have been...."one must do"

What a cracking town Korčula is!

13th century and a mini Dubrovnik but with 1/10th the tourists. Excellent bars and restaurants. We spend the day swimming, buggy riding, swimming, drinking and eating a fine dinner of something in a small village outside of town. End of night we climbed (literally) the tower  to have a bottle of Grk wine and where I surprisingly found a cigar menu with Oliva Melanio V Robusto. Grk wine is only made on this island and it is a damn fine white reminding me of the best of Viognier. Nicko (ship 2IC) was with us and I promised to take him through his first cigar. OMVR is an excellent first cigar. He loved it. PJ loved it. I enjoyed it but the  experience of a cigar with great friends over an excellent bottle of wine on a 13th century turret was effing bloody brilliant.

Hvar is a beutiful bustling port town. Add a 20 knot northerly, 50,000 people using water taxis, a decent swell and you have absolute bedlam. PJ and I were gobsmacked to see water taxis crashing into each other in an attempt to dock as rare space became available. It was straight out of the charriot race in Ben Hur. 

What a day...all finished off with cocaine, champagne, fistfights and hookers on the superyacht docked next to us.  PJ and I were only observers but by God it was entertaining to witness Bostons finest make a mess of themselves!

At first glance it looks as though you have a beard. You know when they do those cross section type photos and combine two different people for an image.

Putting 2 and 2 together...I fear this is the last we'll see of Ken.

FOH cigar reviews with Rob & Caterina...as much as it's painful decision, I think we all know its the right thing to do.
