Loving vicariously living this holiday. Hats off to you all. 

Freshly fried red mullet, the fresh mint and wild oregano in a Greek salad, and the medicinal thwack of ouzo being sunk to the lapping sound and twinkling light of the sea. Everything you guys are putting up really captures the magic of a Greek holiday. 

All you need now is a box of SP Molinos.

For the record I do not like Ouzo unless it's in an Ouzo Special. 2:1 Ouzo:Grenadine, tall glass, ice top up with soda water, lime/lemon.

Entering our last day in Mykonos before heading off to Croatia. Di hasn’t experienced a Nammos afternoon before, so off we went. The place can be crazy expensive (and crazy) but there are few places in the world that match that level of attention to detail in service, food, ambience.there is no better place to people watch 😅

Byblos for dinner. Japanese/Peruvian. It is rated as one of the top restaurants in Mykonos. Hell, it is one of the finest restaurant experiences of my life. I love watching professionals at work both front of house and kitchen. Byblos was worldclass.

Got to say Mykonos is one island we'd avoid. Glad you enjoyed it of course! We prefer quiet and not so much pain in the wallet!

I don't think I will be back to Mykonos. Not quite my scene but we have had an absolute hoot of a time. We always do 😅

Give Barbayanni a try. Both the classic blue bottle and their Aphrodite line. Both are excellent...add a cube or a splash of water to open either up.

We landed in Dubrovnik a few hours ago. Staying in the heart of old town before the 7 day coastal tour tomorrow. It is madness with what appears to be 50,000 tourists mulling around. Great room with the perfect balcony.

Great 36 hours in Dubrovnik. Now on the good ship Jelenika for a 7 day cruise up the coast. 12 people on board total.

Great evening in Dubrovnik where we finally found some good, simple local food. Just platters of cheese/mortadella/cured meats/local olives and a superb Peka (veal and potatoes). 

PJ had the first accident of the trip managing to crush his as we boarded the good ship Jelenica. I have never done a cruise before, but this ship/boat has launched this morning with just 12 guests including ourselves. There are more staff than guests. Madness in peak season but I am not complaining!

A day swimming and bike riding around Mljet. Gorgeous island. 9km bike ride. Di and I got lost...not an easy achievement on a circular track. Carried our bikes for a mile over a rock escarpment. No fresh water taken. Finally came across a store. I stopped while Di passed me, flicked the bird at me and shouted she was heading back to the boat for a bucket of cocktails. 

Nature is highly overrated 😉

Captains table night was brilliant. He got trashed and very handsy with the girls. 

PJ could sail this boat. Day 2 could see a mutiny.
