yuppie Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Seems to be back up with only 1 user showing as online, probably the admin, they said they were going to restore the DB and everyone's logins and all the posts would be preserved. Not sure who is doing this work, but it's easy to mess up. 3

It is still going to take a bit it looks like there is (1) forum popping up we are at Tread, Sell, Buy Cigars / General Discussion / and BattleZone. I think once all the rooms are back then all the old posts and history then users names and passwords. Lets cross are fingers and hope who ever is working on it can pull this off as I am sure it is a lot! It would be a pain in the a** for Wade to have to ok everyone all over again😬 2

My guess is this will be a restart from scratch. If new profiles have to be created I'm sure we'll lose out on some great old heads. Shame. 1

Dmex Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I logged in, its running in pretty basic mode. Wade discussed the issues in the General discussion page, in short we may have lost the history, he has it but he's not sure he can restore it. Also to the issue of registration he said the site was constantly bombarded by bots. He said he has like 10K IPs that he banned because they were all bots that would flood the site. Soon as the site went up last night 5-6 bots managed to register and spam the site so I think he is trying to fix that to avoid the invasion of bots. I did have to re-register but was able to keep my name and just had to go through the motions to prove I was human, barely passed. D 4

Capn_Jackson Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I just re-registered. If I understand his message correctly, he may still try to restore site material from before the crash. If so, those who registered again in this “in-between” time may have to re-register again. Hoping for the best, and I’ll be sad to lose so many messages, but just hoping for the best for the site. 1
