Vladdy Jr and Big Papi postgame was gold - DAAAAA JANKEES LOSE!!

Ohtani was a hall of famer when he was born. Nobody knew it yet. Now everybody does. What he did likely will never be repeated. Except by him. And I am as anti Dodgers as anyone on God's green earth,

Honestly I was happy with Buster's first year as President of Operations. At least I can see what direction the organization wants to go in. We had a pretty good product on the field despite the streaky hitting and bullpen woes. Get a closer, build a starting staff around Webb and Ray, and I see a team that can make the playoffs. The Dodgers cast a big shadow right now.

Pete Alonso may be having a change of scenery.

Jays rolling with Gausman, Yesavage (a whopping 14 career MLB innings) and Bieber in the first 3 games while Scherzer, Bassitt, and Berrios didn't even make the roster. The bullpen will be seeing a lot of time, and still no Bichette has my stomach feeling a little funny.

That's just playoff baseball baby! Best of luck to all of your teams.

Cheers!

I wonder how Mad Max would take that? Even Bassitt been left off the roster just shows what a wealth of pitching options the Blue Jays have right now.

Max seemingly loves the role of mentor in the dugout, but I assume not making the roster while healthy is eating at him a bit because that fire hasn't died. Bassitt had a lower body injury 3 weeks ago and should be healthy, so that worries me a bit.

This year's team seems to have that 'we all do our part' mentality so no one has to be a star.

Gaus exceeded my expectations after a poor outing last Sunday and Vlad made an appearance while Kirk kept his Superman cape on, so I'll be more relaxed heading into today's match. The Yanks are a beast no one wants to wake.

Cheers!

I hope today ends in a similar outcome. That was awesome!

I was wondering what the odds were of a team coming from 2-0 down in a best of 5-game Divisional Series was today. I figured, 'off-the-top-of-my-head', that it was around 8%. I then preceded to research the actual number and I wasn't too far off. The New York Yankees now have a 11.1% chance of proceeded to the American League Championship Series.

Was pleased that the Tigers were able to get past the Indians Guardians. I'll trade the division title for moving onto the ALDS any time.

Was even more pleased that we stole G1 in Seattle. Bummed that we couldn't take advantage of having Skubal on the mound in G2. Either way, I'm looking forward to G3 and 4 in the D.

Let’s go Dodgers!! Great series so far against what I thought was the superior team in this matchup. But these Dodgers got some fight in them after a rather disappointing regular season with so many blown games by the bullpen.

yeSAVAGE.

In his 4th career start?? Panning back to his parents going ballistic all game long was great TV. + the bats showing up after a lacklustre end to the season.

Jays are looking fantastic right about now.

Yes they are. Look like the team to beat to be honest. I'm still praying that the Yanks can turn it around in NY.

Umps had a rough outing and did the Yanks no favours. The Jays thought it wasn't fair and packed it in early.

Congrats to the Yanks - they played the game to win.

Cheers.

The Jays let it slip away last night and I sure don't have a good feeling about tonight.

I also did not have a good feeling about tonight. Pitching was shaky but stayed above water. Feeling better now.

I was cautiously optimistic. The Jays threw 8 different pitchers at the Yankees. It was a gamble and it worked. The great thing about this team is almost any player on the roster can breakout and win a game. That's been the case the whole season.

I am feeling great now, what a game. That was a masterful job by Schneider and Walker mangling the bullpen.

With the Yankees eliminated, it’s been a successful season.

Should be a great experience. For my teams sake, I hope Mr.Skubal can shut you guys down (and of course keep Polanco from going deep...again!)

Either way hope it's an awesome experience. Have fun and post up a couple pics if you get some time!

Go Tigers!
