El Presidente Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Huge fan of the original Fox knives cigar cutter. Not so sure about this one. you can be assured the quality would be top notch. Thumbs up or down?
BrightonCorgi Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 It looks like someone could hurt themselves easily, but I like the design & the Damascus style steel. Why didn't they cut a cigar in the video?
99call Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 If you get something right first time...why go back to the drawing board? 1
Chibearsv Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Thumbs down. Reminds me of drafting class. You know, before CAD CAM 😁 I love my BR Fox cutter though. Simple, elegant, and requires just a bit of patience and accuracy.
westg Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Thumbs down... to me the movement looks as though a lot could go wrong cutting a cigar. Squash cutter. I don't like the size. Too big and elongated for cigars. 2
5thStarChicago Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 We carry these, have sold a lot of them and use one that's chained to the counter. They work incredibly well and are great table scissors. I use one at home regularly and absolutely love it, and they get a lot of attention. I also use them for events if I'm at a table cutting a lot of cigars. It should be noted that the way it's demonstrated in that video is incorrect and totally the wrong hold. It's too big to pocket carry so I use their Figaro cutter almost exclusively now. 1 3

Bada_Bing_NJ Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Didn’t Rabbi Mel Brooks use the cutter in 🎥 Robin Hood Men in Tights? 😂 2
Popular Post Fugu Posted August 7, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 7, 2024 Got one, not happy. I was intrigued by the idea of a pulling-action cut and ordered one. Turns out it compromises delicate wrappers. Not in use since the very first cut. Also what it is lacking is a tension sprung blade action like in a double-blade guillotine. I am back to my cheapo cutters or my Palio. 4 2

Blazer Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Too big to carry comfortably with all my other accessories and looks a little dull.
