This one looks a little more fun than most of them out there. It is aways a good start when they are pairing drinks ;)

Right now Vietnam is one of the boom spots for Habanos and Ho Chi Minh City us a hoot.

Woudl you be interested in a Habanosommelier course?

Participants will enjoy over 18 hours of classes through six live sessions, featuring six iconic Habanos paired with 18 different drinks and spirits, ranging from the standard portfolio to the most rare and collectible editions, plus some extra bonuses. Attendees will receive the internationally recognized Level 1 Diploma after completing the course’s final exam.

If it was of any use I could be tempted 🤔

What about planning a similar thing @El Presidente ? 18 hours of cigar smoking, pairing and chatting with you and other FOHers...With your no BS policy you could count me in right away 😉

Would I do a Habanosommelier Course? Only if I had do. They are reputably difficult. You really have to know your stuff!

Since I know nothing, I should be able to breeze right through! 😬

Is this worth doing at all? I'm bored and would be fun. Anyone else doing it?

It sounds like it would be amazing. But I would probably start smoking and day dream during the class like I did in school.

Close to 100 students graduated worldwide. 😄 About 1,200 USD per course.

Fools are unteachable, but solvent. That's the whole point of the seminars.

They are just looking for money.

18hrs of smoking, drinking and chatting with a bunch of FOHers? Sounds like the old Havanathon parties!

I think I've seen videos of it on FOHtv 🤔

Is it not a thing anymore?

No, sadly. A few of us were just reminiscing about those old Havanathons this weekend, in fact. Wow...good times, good memories!

Thought about it but to what end? Canada is tobacco unfriendly. Were things like cigar lounges legal I would totally do it.  When I inquired about it years ago directly with Habanos, their lack of rapport after the initial response was enough to make me think twice.

These sorts of things always seem like a good idea to me until about 30 minutes in and I remember how much I hate going to classes...any classes. 😨

Same...I think that's called add 😛

If any of you guys do make your way to the east coast, USA like the Carolinas or Miami again, I'm in this time. Couldn't make the last one unfortunately.

If it were in my backyard I would absolutely do it, but I try to avoid anything that requires a flight these days.
