Popular Post Nevrknow Posted June 18, 2024 Popular Post Posted June 18, 2024 I will preface this by saying she is an 80lb Pitbull. “Gifted” for lack of a non mean term to my household by family. At first things went like you would expect for a 6 month old puppy. Not my style. As the years went on, somehow she became “my” dog. Don’t ask how. Got to the point when I go to the bathroom in the hall, she would literally guard the door. As in, DO NOT come down that hall while I’m in there. Seriously. Other than that she’s a dream. Big baby to everyone. One problem. Deathly afraid of storms. Like, terrified. SO, today we’re gone to work on the new house and a storm pops up at the old house. She cowers out in the bathroom and shuts the door. Storm passes and she wants out. I come home to the bottom picture. So, who wants a dog or has a really good recipe? 😂😂😂😂 1 8

I'm guessing it took about a minute to forgive her. 1 1
LizardGizmo Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I'm sure she has an alibi and is completely innocent of these absurd charges! 2 1

That hole was clearly made by insects or rodents. Just think of how much more damage could have been inflicted by these insects or rodents if that selfless dog hadn't locked herself in the room in order to fight them off! I think a round of treats is appropriate to show your gratitude! 2 1
BlueWS Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 I was an impatient jerk to my lab/pitbull mix. All my dogs are rescues and I didn't realize she had a traumatic condition from being abandoned as a puppy. I seriously think someone hit her with a skateboard because she was so afraid of skateboards, but nothing else phased her. She was a spastic tank of a dog whose dial was either on 10 or 100. Drove me nuts. I'm a much more patient trainer and dog owner because of her. I definitely have some regrets. She passed 2 years ago. 2
La_Tigre Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 She only locked herself in the bathroom to prevent herself from storm-raging your humidor. 😆 Be thankful and understanding. 1

LOVED women. Again, now he's my dog. I'm the only one he goes absolutely ape shit over when I come in the house. I think he's going to stroke out one day. Scares me sometimes. Shivers like hell when I pick him up but always up my butt like the other one. Damn dog. 2
