El Presidente Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Too good a name not to use 1. What vitola was the PL Bismarck? 2. if we can't find out, what vitola should it be? Help required 3
NSXCIGAR Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Can't find anything about them. No listing for them under PL in the 1950s dealer catalogue so likely gone by then. Band doesn't look like a thin RG cigar. Let's pretend it was a Dalias. 2
MoeFOH Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 And if one gets a little dry, you can always Sink the Bismarck in a little water. 1 2
JohnS Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 We've all grown so accustomed to Petit Robusto sizes over the last 15 to 20 years, how about bringing one of those out and calling it a 'Bismarck'? We all know it will sell itself!

If you can find out size information for some of the other vitolas on the list, and assume that price is proportional to weight, you should be able to get a general idea of much much a "Bismark" weighed and then you can back calculate some possible sizes.

BlueWS Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 Please make a 54 x 5 1/2" MOFOH Bismark Robusto! 😁 I need that heavy displacement! 1
NSXCIGAR Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 Bismarck is a good name but we all know we want to see the MoFoH Ammunition. 1
Lt4-396 Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 @Ford2112 thank you for the throwback. I remember cruising around in my brother's 91' Nissan Se-R and 88' notchback mustang listening to that song. It's been at least 20 years since I've heard it. God, those were the days. 1

cgoodrich Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 My thoughts are a double taper perfecto similar to Fuentes Hemingway Series. Just my 2¢ 1

loose_axle Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Make it an A size cigar and then a slim gauge belicoso and call that the FOH Swordfish… you could probably get a Hood in there but it’d have to be cigar that explodes on lighting up. 1
