There is something quite unsavory and tone deaf about attending lavish events like this given the state of things in Cuba, and conditions for the rollers actually making these cigars. I understand H+F has to promote their business and all, but I wouldn’t attend this if you gave me a free ticket and airfare. It’s gross.

That's my main problem as well. I can't help but think of the Cuban people struggling to eat and have basic necessities while fat cats run around in suits and white hats. I avoid pompousity at all costs. It's not real. Go to a farm and support the people.
