Popular Post Ken Gargett Posted January 16, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 16, 2024 as a fan of the Washington commanders or whatever they are called this week, a football season is more an act of character building than pleasure. i had forgotten how much fun football can be. and as a fan of the commanders et al, can't tell you how much of a thrill the dallas v packers game was. and bucs v eagles (almost as good though not quite). something about karma springs to mind. but just seriously good fun. but seriously, dallas goes 12-3 three years running, or something similar, and they want to sack the coach? the eagles, miss a superbowl win by the proverbial bee's appendage and win almost everything else over the last three years, bar a few games at the end of this season, and they are talking dumping theirs? can you spell overreaction? jay Gruden won 35 from 85 and we kept him 6 seasons. riverboat ron won 26 from 67 and we kept him 4 years. i guess that says a great deal about the differences between us and the other franchises. sadly. anyway, now i can just enjoy the footy. don't care who wins from here. and bring on our next coach, who will also no doubt have better job security than a supreme court judge. 5
JohnS Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Let's just say it, Ken...you feel on top of the world because the Dallas Cowboys were defeated again at the first chance in the postseason. Furthermore, the fact that they had a perfect regular season record and excellent defence at home makes it all the more galling and bitter if you're a Cowboys fan.

It is refreshing to see your opponents bite the dust. And so dramatically too! Our new GM had his first presser yesterday. Solid guy. Hiring of HC and draft should be interesting. Looking forward.
Chas.Alpha Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 I still haven't forgiven the Cowpokes for the 1975 Divisional Playoff game.
cigaraholic Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Sometimes a game is just too short. I could watch the Cowgirls get their asses kicked at home quarter after quarter after quarter after quarter........🌈
