It’s probably too painful to even get into it at this point. Bummer Ha! I'm the same! Got into NW cigars in Aug 23 and Cuban cigars a few months ago. I have around 25 Cuban cigars now, mostly small vitolas. Talk about being late to the dance!! I envy you guys.

Sent me down the rabbit hole. You and I both. The first Cohibas I bought from Rob were a 6er of Medio. The first one was amazing and sent me down the hole. I can't forgive myself for not buying a couple of boxes. They are one of the better Cohibas IMO.

Those of us who got into this year's ago, rue the opportunity to buy more at that time. And so it goes... If building a collection of Cuban cigars is something you want to pursue, take heart, even at the current prices there are still some decent options within the Global brands (i.e., Partagas, HdM. etc.), and many more options within the Portafolio brands. Also, don't overlook Nudies and MOFOH sticks. These are great cigars of impeccable quality, with aged NC tobacco and great flavour profiles. I can't get enough of the N1 Lanceros and N7 Ninfas. Prices are great and Rob is now offering 5 Pack Nudie and MOFOH Sampler Packs so you can find something in your flavour wheelhouse before parking your coin. 1
LOMTL Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 P2s @ 22.6€ this am in SP at my local estanco. Last box I got was 14.9€ per stick in 2022 if I recall well... 😬

I think I paid around 11 for punch churchill while cohibas were like 60~80 in 2023.

And yes, you're right, that brings a smile paying below 200€ an aged box of Fonseca n1... Cohibas & Trinidad are piling up nicely still, saw quite a bit of Linea de Oro too.

Probably my most favorite country in Europe for traveling. I'm jealous that you are living there! I also found some monte no.1 from 2005, RG lonsdales (7 euros!!!!) while I was at Vigo for couple days. I also found fundadores with old band, but didn't go for it due to increased price, but not I regret not going for after seeing those on BR.

Spain is awesome for CC, and has the climate/culture to enjoy them year round. I only spend a third of my time there, I like these estancos, always full of surprises. I haven't seen RG Lonsdale in a while! Let me know where you saw those Trinis, I'll go for them, haha! 1
helix Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Regrettably, no longer willing to be paying the ransom for CC's, visiting the Island, or to witness the desperation of her wonderful people only to be further supporting the despicable regime. Feels like the death of a friend so sad. 😒😟😬 Enjoying awesome custom rolled/blended Dominican cigars from a friends factory in POP $6 US average per stick. Very much enamored by the DR and her people. 1 1
