tarantino's deathproof. that was an absolute horror. a truly awful movie. a complete rip-off. have refused to watch any of his films since. yes, i know that is not exactly the question. but it was truly horrible. worst film ever. tarantino just laughing at his fans. 

first time i saw silence of the lambs was pretty much the scariest film i ever saw. i drove through red lights to get home to lock the doors. a mate and i saw it (with his future wife). she yawned through it. we were in terror. when it finished, we both walked to his car to check no one hiding, then to mine to check no one hiding, then to half way between our cars and then we each ran for our respective cars. she just stood there, shaking her head at two idiots. 

and what's more, i had already read the book! 

pity someone didn't push tarantino down his well.

Talk to Me is a great horror movie with a fun campy edge to it.  Well done.

Rewatched The Boy a couple nights ago, followed by The Boy II last night.  While I might not classify them as horror (when compared to some of the others in this list) they are both great films.  #1 more so than #2.
