Popular Post El Presidente Posted June 19, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 19, 2023 ....and you thought the Canonazo was good Nudies/Desnudo launches this Saturday. Make sure you hold some coin for the weekend. 13 1
fokker4me Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Now this I'm stoked for. I really cannot wait for this ones although it will be hard to hold these back and not smoke one too quickly before they are ready. 1
Slayer Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I've just prepared a box for 50 Canonazos, still awaiting those bad boys. But I dont have a box to hold 50 lanceros 🤬😵😵 I do have one that can hold 100 petit coronas though 🤔🤔 1 1

Bri Fi Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Sorry if this was addressed in other threads but is the flavor profile of the different vitolas the same this year?
HoyoFan Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Sorry if this was addressed in other threads but is the flavor profile of the different vitolas the same this year? Curious about this as well. Or is the flavor profile similar to the Canonazo?

That is not possible. Different ring gauge, different profile. you can't have a 52 gauge taste the same as a 38 gauge and vice versa 1
Popular Post El Presidente Posted June 19, 2023 Author Popular Post Posted June 19, 2023 This is a review from our tasting panel that most closely resembles what Hamlet and I both experience and were aiming for. No joke. I think we have created one of the best Lancero in the market. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Prelight aromas are barnyard, tobacco and wood. Artisanal complications are a fan cap. Draw: 2-1/2 to 3 notches into the resistant spectrum, which is where I believe El Presidente wanted it. Burn: Razor sharp, and I mean razor sharp through the review. First Third: Mossy wood to open, tobacco sweetness in the middle, red pepper flake and earth through the retrohale. Mild wood establishes post draw, some saw dust quality to it. A creamy chocolate comes into the retrohale at light-plus with the aforementioned wood finishing. Mild floral notes are present through the retrohale at almost background levels. Red pepper flake moves down to light at about 2 inches with creamy chocolate moving to the front of the profile. Sweetness steps up to medium as it moves towards the halfway. Second third: Baked bread, red pepper flake with wood to finish. Sweet cinnamon mid profile as it settles. Sweet wood defines the post draw with lingering sweetness between draws. Last third: Mild earth, some sharp wood on the front of the tongue through the post draw. Medium strength spices mixing with wood as it settles, overall strength moving to medium almost medium plus. I smoked this on the vherf, and my smoking pace was way, way too fast. Total smoking time was 1 hour and 51 minutes and I could / should have got roughly 40 more minutes. The lancero is a banger. Full send. 4 2
ha_banos Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I'm waiting to try the Canonazo and compare to the notes 😁 #imnomugwellmaybejustabit
dangarneau Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Glad to get a release date and even more glad to hear it's sooner rather than later!
ChangBang Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 How different are these n1 lanceros vs the last edition? Totally different or just a tweak in the blend?

Islandboy Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 After reading all this I’m kinda sad for all my remaining N1’s....sounds like they’re getting the boot from flavor town by these bad boys. 1 1

We can talk if you decide you don’t need your 2021 N1s anymore 😁. I’m not afraid. 3

I love those N1's. We would be derelict if we weren't striving to make better cigars. In the case of the 2023 N1, it is completely different tobacco all with 4 1/2 years of age and with our own rolling team. They had a lot of advantages 2

Zaxeiler Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Shoot. If the CA VI is any indication, while these are brilliant cigars at an affordable price for everyday smoking - if a new release comes every month, I’ll be just as broke as with Cuban prices! 😘
AbasCigar Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Can't decide what to buy. Unfortunately as a student, I can't afford both atm. The lancero or the Canonazo.... My favourite cigars are monte especiales, especial no.2, Fundadores, cohiba lancero..... I REALLY love when I get notes of cream and vanilla in a cigar. any advice? Which one should I go for? 2
