Tunkat92 Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Cold Draw: The draw had little resistance (just as I like). Not much in flavor notes. 1/3: The first puff of the cigar was rich sweet tobacco and chocolate at the end. The smoke was thick and had great body. As the first third progressed it developed a nice black coffee flavor, chocolate was still present. It also had a touch of cream and a touch of pepper on the retro. 2/3: Not much change at the beginning of this third. A little bit of a sweet citrus flavor starts to appear. The latter half of this third the sweet tobacco flavor disappears and the chocolate notes seem to take the stage. The strength seems to tone down a touch. A completely different cigar now. 3/3: Dark chocolate takes the core with notes of black coffee. Occasionally citrus flavor comes through. The pepper is definitely stronger on the retro but still very pleasant. The burn has perfect the whole way through and the smoke is very satisfying. 92 points for sure would have been higher if the rich sweetness didn’t disappear. 2
