The queen of cream and to my mind such an underappreciated cigar. Elegant, consistent, just under medium bodied but with a marshmallow pillow undertone in a toasted tobacco, light roast espresso format. 

It faces some real competition within its own Hoyo ranks as first the San Juan and later the Rio Seco came on the scene.

[NSXCIGAR]

Possibly the most well-rounded Hoyo. Certainly in the top 3 of all Hoyos on any given day. Has a depth and complexity that usually isn't there in the Epi 1 & 2. 

I don't smoke many Hoyos but this is one, along with the Petit Robusto and Rio Seco that I will reach for from time to time.

I'm still trying to 'get' this cigar. In comparison to other Hoyo de Monterrey cigars, I haven't been able to get a consistent run in terms of flavour and/or construction. Nonetheless, I'll keep trying.

The EE and DC are the best Hoyos! The Rio Seco is up there too.

One of the few Hoyo's I enjoy, along with the Rio Seco and an occasional San Juan tubo.

I really don’t know why, but I find myself continuing to buy Epi 1 and 2 and not these.

For me it is a ramped up version of the Epicure 2 but with extra sweet cream replacing some of the Epi 2s cinnamon. A good one is a thing of beauty.
