El Presidente Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 I am generally not a fan of "Cigar Watches" .......that trend continues. La Palina x Accutron Collaborate on Limited Edition Humidor Spaceview The cigar maker has created a custom blend for the collaboration. 1 of 3 Accutron 2 of 3 Accutron 3 of 3 Accutron has partnered with cigar maker La Palina for a limited edition Spaceview watch presented in a custom humidor. The Accutron x La Palina Limited Edition Spaceview 2020 – the first watch powered by electrostatic energy – uses accents in the familiar Accutron green against an open-work brown dial with light green luminous indices as well as hour and minute hands. The American cigar brand – revived in 2010 - has also created a bespoke Accutron cigar for the project, using a blend of tobacco from Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominic Republic rolled at the El Titan De Bronze factory in Little Havana, Miami. Ten are included in the hand-crafted Nicaraguan humidor, along with a cigar cutter. The Accutron x La Palina Limited Edition Spaceview 2020 timepiece is available now as a limited edition of 222 pieces via Accutron, priced $5,000 USD.

MrBirdman Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Certainly more tasteful than the last few cigar watches I’ve seen. 2
Popular Post Fuzz Posted June 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 15, 2022 Oh Lord, that is one ugly watch! The dial looks like a bicycle being mounted by a penny-farthing. 🤣 3 3

BrightonCorgi Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I like the design and over all package. Not a buyer for it, but certainly more compelling than a lot of other different watches out there. Sweep second and step minute and hour is cool. Accutron a has an innovative history. 2
Chibearsv Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 $5000 for a watch that's hard to tell what time it is...no thanks. As their website says, it's not a timepiece, it's a conversation piece.
KCCubano Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I will stick with my 1969 Rolex Datejust hand me down. Still looks brand new. 1
grabow32 Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I like the watch. Plus it's a bargain that it only costs about the same as about 5 single BHK 54's in the current market! 1
