First time smoking this or any Upmann. It was so nice. Flavorful right out the gate. I think it was salt and shortbread. Maybe sourdough. I don’t know, but chef’s kiss. Very enjoyable 40 minutes. 4/5 sublime divines. The setting: Backyard bonfire with the Missus. Giant cottonwood swaying overhead. Several many IPAs. Mosquitoes tolerable. Old camping chair did its best, but there’s room for improvement. The music: Four small children dominate my life, so obviously the Encanto soundtrack has been living rent-free in my head for most of a year. No exception last night. ‘Bruno’ looped over and over in my mind while the birds settled in for the night. Low drone of distant interstate traffic. About 30 geese and one confused duck made a low flyover. Just a perfect night. If you’re still reading, smash that like button so I can maybe win some cigars I have zero right to! And thanks! 11 3
