El Presidente Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 It has been 5 years since they were released so we should be in a position to get an aging profile on them. From those initial boxes. Have you noticed a definitive evolution of the QD54 over the years? If so, can you describe it? Do you think that they still have legs and if so......how do you think they will age from this point on? 2
havanaclub Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Just smoked one yesterday from 2018, a box I got in Cuba. They definitely have legs. I actually felt it still needed some time to blossom. They were really good fresh! The 54>50 by a far margin IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
Boxer31 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Had one from my ENE 20 box last month to see and might have to wait another couple before touching again. 1
benfica_77 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 ASR SEP 19 Has been excellent wished i had for a 25 count and not the 10 count box. Very impressed.....they are flavourful and are not muted at all. I don't expect much more evolution at this point. They should be good I think 7-10 years before they taper off....it's definitely a lighter cigar so i expect its window to be shorter. 4
CaptainQuintero Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 eeep 5 years? Still haven't got round to trying this new release 2
RDB Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 I’ve only had one box, from 2018. Looks great, smokes rather mild and bland. Not much evolution so far, and I don’t see where it would come from. 1
