I sourced some local fresh squid this week and prepared some Vietnamese style stuffed squid. I haven't made them in a while but very good.

Warm Big Apple Danish

We came for the Affogato, but the waiter said they have a special desert tonight called the Warm Big Apple Danish. He said if we didn't think it was the best desert we have ever tasted, that he would pay for it, so we got that too. Damn if he wasn't right. Never tasted anything like it before.

Went out to an Omakase for wife’s birthday dinner here’s some photos! It was all superb and I highly recommend Hidden Fish for your omakase needs in San Diego.

Seriously.  Just a gold old fashioned Chicken pie with mushy peas mashed potato and gravy. A great wholesome pub meal normally in winter with pint of guinness . Today a Tiger.  You gotta just love the granny plate. 😎🌴
