Popular Post Scotch&Stogie Posted June 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 24, 2021 Bolivar Royal Corona. An excellent cigar, though not quite up to the level of BBF, think the Animals compared to Led Zepplin, the latter of which (Led Zepplin II) I am listening to at the moment for the purpose of this week’s competition. it is a consistent and enjoyable cigar. Cedar and leather up front, not much creaminess (which I have noticed in general when it comes to 2020 stock compared to 2016-2018), but still smooth. Final third gains a bit of black pepper. It’s not as powerful or complex as it’s big brother, but remains undeniably a child of Bolivar. 87/100 13
Kaptain Karl Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 My feb 2020 BBF's had cream when they were fresh, then it disappeared. Leaving them be to gather more rest so that can hopefully come back! Great review man!
Jonboy4074 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 My experience with most all Bolivar is the older, the creamier.
Nevrknow Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Same with my palette. I have 3 boxes of bolivars . I buried them in one of the coolidors to sleep a good while.
Jonboy4074 Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I don’t think I’ve ever gotten cream flavor or creaminess/creamy smooth smoke out of a bolivar …ever Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI'm sorry. 2
Huckleberry Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 Definitely get cream elements from BBF. Nothing like what shows up way more pronounced in a HdM profile but I have grown to expect it all the same. 1
