I have had a ton of them from many a different box over many a year. 

I prefer the Monte Grand Edmundo by a significant margin. Monte C LE are a tad too light for me. 

Now on BR, they go for a pretty penny so they have fans and always have had fans. 

Ken detests his box and that is perfectly fine. In the realm of recommendations if you are batting 7/10 + then you are doing remarkably well :D

Rereading an article about the terroir of Cuban tobacco plantations, I think found the answer about the reasons for the appearance of the refractory wrapper: excess nitrogen in the soil. At normal nitrogen content, only ligero leaves are refractory. With an excess of nitrogen in the soil, all tiers of the tobacco bush including seco and volado will have flameproof properties.

in fairness, despite being sent down that dark and tortuous road, i think the recommendations i have received would exceed 7/10. now if only you can get it up to 100%!
