I absolutely remember these!!  
And Dan, I NEVER saw your prompt!!   I put up a couple of recent ones.  One I made for Pete Johnson and another for a local fellow.   Pete also commissioned this one for Pepin Garcia, exclusively from 1957 Chevrolet parts.  
I understand he uses it daily.
