Hate when that happens, I'm sorry to hear it. I have a 2016 JL1 box that I finished recently and was pretty much fireproof throughout the whole box.  I have another one stashed away but don't want to dig in for a big.  Very frustrating when a stick is like that, but I guess that is one of the risks we take smoking cigars haha.

This was my first one and I'm a big Upmann fan in general but this provided excellent flavors, good burn, slightly firm draw but nothing that was annoying.  Overall, very pleasant for me but obviously we all have different palates two cigars from the same box could be completely different (for two people or for one person smoking one to the other).

Absolutely. I hate it too. But hey, gotta take the good with the bad. When a Cuban cigar is on there is nothing like it.

Pitched:Last one was fortunately 6  months ago but I remember it well-a 18 PLPC just bitter & twisted.

Nubbed: Punch Punch also from 18 a couple of days ago, baking spices, cinnamon and cream. Yummy

Pitched a beat up 2008 Monte A with wrapper damage I repaired. Almost halfway through I realized it was bland and dead.

Nubbed. Punch ManTua.  Fantastic smoke.

Last pitched: Cuaba Salomon, EML July '15

Last nubed: RASS, MUR FEB '13. After dinner with one of my many siblings and her family (who are visiting for a summer vacation) I needed a cigar in the worst way. The RASS hit it out of the park. The hazy, hot, and humid summer weather is gone and my cigars are a perfect 60RH at 70f. What a difference from three weeks ago.

I had to pitch a 2014 PLPC last week as well as my last VR don Alejandro that was beyond plugged, and nubbed 2011 QDo Imperiales because it was outstanding.
