I've bought 36 boxes here over the last year and just received my first box of PLMC.  While I am mostly a petit corona, corona gorda, churchill, and lancero guy, I really love these PLMCs.  What other Cuban handrolleds are of a similar size as the PLMC (33 ring, 159 mm)?

The closest is the 32 ring gauge x 152 mm La Gloria Cuban Medaille d'Or No.4 but these haven't been seen with box codes later than the first quarter of 2018, unfortunately.

Yep, those are the only two left. Hoyo du Gourmet hung in there until 2013.

Luckily, both the MdO4 and PLMC are of high quality for those who are seeking out the formats.

I'm always in disbelief how unpopular these models apparently are. I would guess a majority here really appreciate the long skinny vitolas. They seem to move a ton of PLMC and MdO4. In Cuba I couldn't believe how many MdO4 boxes I saw. I rarely see old box codes gathering dust at vendors.

I just think there's still a market for these long skinnies. I think reintroducing the Party Connoisseur line would be highly successful. Would love to see Dip 6 & 7 and Monte 6 & 7!

Oh, bummer. Will definitely get more PLMC and will keep an eye out for the Md04. It’s truly a disappointment there aren’t more skinnies out there. Thanks for the feedback guys!

I actually think the skinny lovers are simply the loudest .. look at the rate at which the fatties sell out on 24:24 .. apparently they get to be the silent majority

When and where? I saw none at the LCDH’s in Havana.

Not recently. I guess they had just cranked out their entire run at the time I was there. There were a lot, and now they're gone so the demand is certainly there for them.

Last time I saw them in Havana was summer 2018. Grabbed the two boxes they had (both JUL-17) in Habana Libre but did not see a single box in any store I visited when there of August last year.

I saw them in early 18. Had to be 20 boxes at just about every LCDH I went to. Had to be 50 boxes at Club Havana.

Guess these are on the periodic production schedule which is usually 18 months. I would expect to see the next run hit very soon.

Try the Cohiba Exquisitos (5 in X 33 rg) One of the best sub 38 cigars out.

Raphael Gonzalez Panatela Extra (5 in X 37 rg) for a good cheap & cheerful

Aside from the Exquisitos listed above, the Cohiba Corona Especiale & Montecristo Especiale no 2 are some of the best Panatelas money can buy.  Praying for MDO 4 to get another good production run.  I'm sure if it happens, hoarders will be out in full force haha.  I'd def snag a few boxes myself.
