I have a box of Sig 2's from ESL JUL 17 and they're amazing.  They have been my favorite Cohibas, and Cubans in general for that matter, outside of an aged box of Esplendidos, but they're 1A & 1B.  I'm waiting on a new box of Sig 2's in the mail and am very curious how they are within a year because I have a feeling they're the best Cohibas to smoke young out of the portfolio.

What a great review . Nothing wrong with giving a high score if that is what you have in hand .

Cracked open a fresh box that I recently received. Only let them acclimate for just over a month, but was anxiously waiting to give one a try.

Wrapper was a beautiful mocha brown, invisible seams and smooth veins. Packed pretty firm.

Cold draw was some chocolate and hay.

Clipped the cap with a straight cut from my Xikar M8. Perfect draw, just the right amount of resistance. Gave it a gentle toasting with my ST DuPont Ligne 2 torch.

1/3: Starts off with some very nice floral notes. All honey, sugar and sweet nuts from there.

2/3: More sweet nuttiness, honey and light roast creamy coffee.

3/3: More of the same and I couldn’t be happier. Burnt sugar, honey, sweet nuttiness, creamy coffee and a bit of caramel.

Construction was flawless. Burn was absolutely perfect. Produced thick silky smoke the whole time. Smoked it all the way down to the nub. Final smoke time was 55 minutes.

I loved everything about this cigar! Honestly a magical experience. The type of cigar that just makes everything in the world seem right... Can’t wait to see how these progress, although I’m not sure how much better it could get.

I usually don’t like to give such high scores, but Final Score: 96

Nice review, I have one saved for my daughter’s graduation in June. Love the casa fuente ashtray! I was there in October, great place, how much did the ashtray cost if you don’t mind me asking, I’d like to purchase one☺️

Thank you! Casa Fuente is always a fun time whenever in Vegas. I got mine 10+ years ago on one of my first trips there. I believe it was $50-$75 at the time.

Thanks for the review. I received a box last week from Nov 18 that needs to sit a while from its travels.

I have yet to try a Siglo II and this review has got me even more anxious!
