Punch 898 Asia Pacific Regional Christmas Sampler (PPPRW)

Construction is excellent with a beautiful silky wrapper. Draw is firm but yields good smoke volume.

1/3: It opens with unsweetened marzipan nuttiness, baked goods, rich earth, with a sweetness on top. 

2/3: This is settling into a fine smoke. Touches of Leather and Unami notes on the almond paste dominate. There is a sweetness or creaminess here on the tongue that is nice. Draw and burn remain excellent.  This third was fantastic. 

3/3: It just gets better into the first band. Expecting some elbows but none here.  Still getting baked goods, sweetness,     a touch of leather and slight shaved wood.  It’s hard to believe this is a young stick. Medium Full+ strength.

Overall excellent now 94+ with upside. The Exclusivo band is well deserved here

Nice review, pretty much sums up my experience with the Christmas sampler stick. I’m definitely stashing one of my 2 boxes deep so I can experience some age, and I’m definitely smoking through the other box sooner rather than later.
