One of the things we look for in Cohiba bands is whether the bottom squares touch the Cohiba name box.
Just got some VI tubos where bottom line of white boxes hit the Cohiba name box.
So...label misprints do occur occasionally, correct?

interesting.

I guess that's why Prez advises the only way to truly know you are getting real cigars is to trust your source.

I would have had the same concerns as you.

Hit it with a blacklight. I blacklight every Cohiba I get. (Monte's new band also has UV check).

Blacklight checks in band and tax stamp.

Of course there are occasional print irregularities even in the highest-end printshops (It brings to mind all the baseball card misprints that somehow made it past QC).  If you are secure in the provenance of your cigars you should be able to observe and discuss these irregularities as anomalies without too much time spent bickering about whether or not they are *indisputable signs of counterfeits.  It's a shame the conversation rarely gets that far (especially on other forums).

I'm happy to perform further analysis on all of your Siglo VIs.  Larger sample supply 25ish preferred.  No guarantee of return though. ?

I would say this would certainly be within the margin of error for Vrijdag. If the security features check out I wouldn't be concerned.

Hey if it were a bank note or stamp or some other type of print, misprints would make it far more valuable. Smoke it and you’ll be able to tell. I don’t think tubo 3 packs get faked as much as boxes and glass tops.

Smoke them.

Look fine ..........;)
