What's our take on them from those 3 pictures? Or you're assuming that people on here have travelled to the lcdh in tijuana and smoked one of those? Or are you referring to custom farm rolls in general?
What's the story on those? Do they have an origin?farm?region?
I was trying to ask in general for cuban puros

I didnt realize there was  LCDH in Tijuana?  Interesting?  Is this true

There is, right on Av. Revolución, didn't get to check it out though because it's closed on Sundays.

Had several bundles from LCDH Tijuana around 2016.  They were rolled by one Carlos Fernandez with the same covered feet as yours.  They do smoke quite well fresh and afterward need several months to even out again.  The ones I had were rolled a little looser than standard production Habanos we are used to and there was solid cuban tobacco but the flavors didn't change much throughout the cigars.

I have a Robaina wrapped Partagas reserva blend in 109 from Carlos Fernandez. The gentlemen I got it from frequents the place and said to age it 5 years. I'll be smoking it for my 15 year work anniversary next year. Anyway, he seems to think they do well with age in the same way Habanos do.

I remember when the LCDH was in the mall.  You had to taxi, or in my case, walk over.  Now a days you probably would be shot walking off revolution over to the mall.  Was nothing but a small closet in the mall.

Tobacco taxes are very high in Mexico which explains the prices you saw.

Now how could you possibly know that it was a "Partagas reserva blend"? I mean, seriously. There's no way. For one, Partagas only released one Reserva, a PSD4 as an '05 release. They released a Gran Reserva Lusitania as a 2013 release....but that's it for those

The roller at the store, Carlos Fernandez would offer to tweak the regular blend more to your tastes and in 2014-2015 he was offering a Cohiba GR blend as an option. I would think it was not completely the same, but I tried a Corina Gorsa that had a resemblance to it.

I take it with a grain of salt. These custom blenders call their blends "behike", "reserva", etc... I don't think for one second it is the exact blend. The way I see it is the blender doing their version of the blend or trying to mimic that blend.

Been going to this LCDH for years and I've never cared for the custom rolls they offer there. They are supposedly made from Cuban leaf by a "master roller from the Partagas factory", but based on my judgement, they do not look like, feel like, or taste like Cuban cigars. I have a whole desktop humidor full of these things since the kind manager gives me 1 or 2 complimentary sticks everytime I go.

As far as the store goes, it's a refreshing little oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of downtown Tijuana. Friendly staff, coffee bar, and relaxing lounge area. They used to serve alcohol, but now you have to bring your own if you want to drink there. As others have mentioned, the cigar prices are very high due to Mexico's tobacco tax. So I usually keep my box purchases limited to the Mexico ERs.

Two words.... Mexican Taxes. All cigars are really expensive as a result. The best place to get custom rolled cigars is in Cuba.

I agree with you 100%. Carlos's hand rolls are completely different than any other custom rolled cigars I've had.

I did a bundle split of Carlos Fernandez "BHK Blend" lanceros.  They were Whoppers at like 8.5 inches x 40 RG.  Folks can say what they please, but each and every one tasted remarkably similar to a regular BHK.  Hands down best custom cigars I've ever had.
