At least there are a few Lancero makers still out there...unfortunately not Cuban.

@Elpresidente Did you get a chance to sample this one at IPCPR? In one of the cigar review videos you didn’t seem too impressed with what was on display there.  I’m just glad to see not everyone abandoning the long skinnies

Looking forward to sampling the nudies split done with a few other BOTLs.

I have also enjoyed the LH Premium Maduro Lancero as of late for a change of pace.

I've had my eye on that one as I'm both a Lancero and a Casdagli fan.

Haven't seen hide nor hair of them in the stores yet.

Likewise.  I keep searching to see if they are available but nothing yet.

I'm looking forward to the nudies coming back around. I missed my chance.

I don’t recall how many I have coming in the split but willing to share the goods if you’re in the States.

Check out cedar room cigars (www.cedarroomcigars.com). They are in Arizona. They have a variety of Casdagli's on hand.

That is very kind of you to offer. I am more than willing to take whatever you would like to part with. Even a 5er or a stick or 2 would make my day. I'm in Indiana by the say.

Speaking of Lancero ,  has anyone tried the Padron Ambassador natural or maduro ?

Actually have a 5 pack of each inbound but haven’t tried either to comment.

Been keen to try Casdagli/bespoke Brand for sometime, Worth the coin?

I don’t smoke them often but I enjoy them when I do.  It’s worth having a few sticks laying around when you want a change.

So far, in my opinion, yes.

I can say that we're closing rapidly on the end of year cut off point for cigar reviews. So far not a single cigar has moved into the 'very good' category for me, last year by this time I believe we had 4 or 5. I'm guessing that as far as Developing Palates goes, our average score reviews are probably a full point down over last year.

I haven't been overly impressed.

Feel free to send all those duds to me doc. I'll dispose of them in a green manor.

It's all fun and games until you're on your 27th review in a row that hits average at best.

27th cigar review in general or 27th casdagli/bespoke review?  Just got my 4 pack of Rabicano’s today that I was looking forward to smoking.  I’ve had some duds this year as well.

27th average cigar review in a row. I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the Casdagil / Bespoke stuff.

IMO, yes. I like some of the NCs out there. Sure they can be a little one dimensional, but some can be really good and Casdagli is the latter. I haven’t tried all of them, and I haven’t liked all the ones that I’ve tried but I’ve had mostly positive experiences with the brand. Construction has been top notch and it has a complex flavor profile.
Of the top of my head I liked the grand cafe (lancero), club mareva (Corona), cotton tail (strange vitola), spalato (pyramide), and basilica c3 & ristretto (both petit robusto). Although I would suggest buying the c3 at a discount, even tho it’s really good, it’s not worth the full price imo (it’s not a 98 pointer). I suggest smoking the sticks at 67-70%rh, like all the other NCs.
