I really like SlipKnot. This song is one of my favorites.

Can't get the riff from Guild the Lily out of my head. Blind Melon cover is pretty good too. There's another version out there starting with a Pearl Jam cover, also excellent. I really want to see this guy live, and I'm not big into bluegrass. He truly transcends genres in a magical way, and is a monster guitar player. Great bunch of musicians with him too.

Love that tune. Last Resort is another good one. Phenomenal cover and seems to cut deeper than the original.

Nice!  Never heard this song, it's got a Little Feat vibe

Great ears!  George Lowell is on guitar.   Been on a Little Feat kick lately thanks to this thread :)

Georges Brassens. Il nous manque. L'original et le meilleur !

How do you like this one ? Probably my favourite...

For those of you who don't know (as I assume he is nowhere near famous outside of France/French speaking countries), Georges Brassens was a French singer/poet and the following song was written as a tribute to those who helped him when he needed it most. Very intense to me.

During Covid-19 a lot of people around the world that experienced prolonged periods of lockdown joined Duolingo online to learn a language. Of course, I was one of them! It was the best thing that ever happened. During those days, Duolingo had courses with tutors and a dedicated ZOOM account that was free to use. It was great. One course offered to learn the French language at an advanced level studying the figurative meaning of lyrics from songs. The tutor often used Georges Brassens songs and I have been a fan ever since!
