In case you were missing aussie politics…

We have fraser anning (not deserving of capital letters), the senator representing about four people, and who abandoned his party, if I recall – actually, that is not true. It was actually zero people because he replaced an even bigger moron in malcolm roberts, who received a total of 70 votes (not making that up), but enough under our ridiculous system for him to be a federal senator, and was then found to be ineligible for parliament (so I guess not everything is stuffed). So one nation (should read one brain cell) brings him in to replace malcolm moron. he lasts zero seconds with them before defecting to independence and katter. I can understand abandoning pauline but seriously, did they not check? What competence!

yesterday, he flies off to join the extreme right white supremacist rally (named something else, of course). He claims he was not with the nazis because they were actually a few yards away from him when they were doing hitler salutes. This is a member of the senate. A representative of the Australian people. God forbid. 

He has charged his pointy end flights to this event to the taxpayer. Just special.

And just when you thought it could not get any more surreal, we have the truly inept sarah hanson young, shining light for the dumbest of the greens – remember that this is the woman who genuinely thought that the fictional tv drama, ‘sea patrol’ (that show with lisa mclune?) was a documentary. She is on tv saying he should not represent Australians (how embarrassing  to agree with her about anything, but of course he should not) and then she comes out and says he should repay the cost of the flights. Again, spot on. BUT, this was the woman who point blank refused to repay the money, $4000, she charged the taxpayer to take her daughter on a whale watching trip. The monumental hypocrisy of these people. She is a human mudslide. He is worm excrement.

Not that one ever wishes harm on another human being, but this world, and especially this country, would be a much, much better place if every single federal politician was suddenly transported to Pluto. without so much a single warm rug between the lot of them.

There is not a single one I can think of who benefits this place.

I commend  our elected representatives in turning their back on the "majority" and seeking to gain a better understanding of a present day social issue (gang crime in the Somalian and Sudanese community). 

Flying business class, if it is in the rules, more luck to him! he may even have wifi on the flight to the rally to find out where Somalia is. he has a travel allowance with a travel policy. He didn't write it!

Jesus, if we held a "smokers rally" he may even have the balls to show up.......even that he is a non smoker!

Allow me to clarify, Prez...I have no dog in the political hunt...let alone Aussie politics.  I (literally) gave up on politics several years ago, and have found that my life is just fine without them.

not to poke the bear but i was unfair to katter and his ilk. they had the decency to turf this scuzzball out of their party. mind you, it was in typical aussie political fashion.

after this grub, in his maiden speech, called for a revival of the "final solution" (in which, apparently, he did not distinguish between the jewish and islamic faiths) and which he then claimed was taken 'out of context' (just what possible other context is there?), bob katter came out and announced that he stood 100% behind everything his fellow party member had said. dear old pauline castigated him thoroughly for saying such appalling things but then when asked what the 'final solution' meant, she admitted that she didn't actually have a clue. yes, these are our representatives.

lord spare me, even abbott has come out against anning - you have to know you are the bottom of the barrel when that happens. 

if you get the politicians we deserve, then australians must have been the worst people in history at some stage. perhaps god is a kiwi, wouldn't that be ironic.

the bloke was brought into the senate by one nation to replace malcolm moron. he had not even stepped through the door before he backflipped completely and dumped the mob who'd brought him in. greg louganis has never managed a backflip of that magnitude. 

still, not all bad news. i see another knuckle dragger - senator leyonhelm (forgive the spelling but i have no idea and no intention of learning it) leaving federal politics - what a sad day for lunatics across the country - and running for state parliament (thankfully not our state). he will apparently (and i am not making this up, because you couldn't) run against mark latham. i have no idea what the people of that electorate did but it must have been as bad as it gets. perhaps if they could get abbott to join in, we would have the trifecta of evil.

The tobacco lobby will be sad to see Senator Leyonhelm go.  He was the only one who entertained them. 

Ken, in relation to anning......he has never changed his spots. Parties just kept trying to put their own suits on him. You can't dress a pig.

this is a man who, without wishing to be too personal and acknowledging that i am not holding my breath waiting for the call to the catwalk, looks like the result of one of the seven dwarves mating with a warthog. he gets on to one of the social media dating thingees - in particular, sugar daddies - apparently when travelling, again on the taxpayer's dime, in asia. he tells his hooker de jour that he is a very important person in australia and that in reality, he is a bit like james bond - you honestly could not make it up. needless to say, he ran very strongly on family values and was one of the first to castigate his leader when said leader decided to ditch the wife and four kids for a staffer who may or may not have been carrying his kid (still could not make it up). naturally, he also plays the christian card and regularly quotes billy graham. 

he took said hooker to dinner in hong kong where he told her how much like 007 he was and then whinged endlessly about the cost of the dinner (just what every hooker wants to hear). 

among his texts to his new friend,' “I pull you close, run my strong hands down your back, softly kiss your neck and whisper ‘Gday mate'”. seriously. not even george lazenby would have tried that. there are other texts but seriously, in case anyone is eating, we'll avoid them. 

the hooker decided that it was better to earn her money blackmailing him rather than sleeping with him - can you blame her? even hookers have standards. this apparently came as somewhat of a shock to our pollie, stunned that she wasn't actually in love with him. and when he didn't cough up, she sold the story to a grubby mag. 

at least he did retire. most would have insisted that they carry on.
