Popular Post Wilzc
Connie A Click hither for the Connie B review This came from a box bought from FOH INT store a couple of months ago. Prelight. Grass. Hay. Lol. Construction looks good. No complaints. First puffs. Cuban twang hits home immediately. That grassy, floral hit with some hints of cream. After a few more puffs, some coffee and woody notes join the foray. Pretty light bodied. Sliiihgtly boring. I seem to have this feeling of always wanting more from this Single origin Iced chocolate is the drink of choice today. Sort of a really strong, dark cocoa drink with floral and citrus notes lingering about. This drink completely overpowers the cigar so I’ll switch up with some good ol San Pellegrino! Don't mind the messy table Suddenly (about just under an inch). It would seem like the Gods of tobacco heard my silent lamentation... What’s going on. I shat myself.... a cornucopia dawns upon me now. Toasted sourdough jumps in with a hint of pepper and stiffer coffee notes. Graham cracker and toffee. Wow, Just wow. The ice chocolate coats the palate and mixes so well with the cracker and coffee notes, prolonging the finish... I’m smiling creepily to myself at this point. Second 3rd. Floral and twang is back at this point, but with a little more nicotine kick and some pepper.... nice but... give me back my sourdough and coffee!! Ash then fell on me. $¥€6@##*+€! After the touchup, I get more toasted bread flavors coming in! With some milk chocolate and cream! Then as the 3rd progresses A little generic toasted tobacco and some twang. Last 3rd, this cigar seems to be ending faster than normal... as in this taste is what normally to me would be the last inch of the cigar (where I put it to rest on the ashtray). I’m no nubber. There’s a good 2 inches left yet it tastes like the nub perhaps its due to the 90rh humidity out here. Everything is sort of a muddle. Wet tobacco. Damp earth. Astringent twangy dour mix of floral n grassy notes. I’ll be putting down this cigar earlier than I thought. Final thoughts. 87-92 points. Final smoke time is 90 minutes. Construction and burn is impeccable for a Cuban. If the second 3rd could be prolonged, this would be a splendid cigar. A versus B conclusions: These are rather similar sized cigars with B being a touch thicker and a touch longer. I’m a little baffled at HSA’s decision making. However it is apparent that B is a more modern blend and the A is, to me, more ‘traditional’. The A is a cigar that’s very true to its Cuban roots and probably require some rest before hitting full stride while the B is blended for the modern ‘instant gratification’ era. Connoisseur Kim
I ordered Connie A on 23th of December. Is Connie B worth as Connie A? I have not seen many reviews of Connie B. If Connie B is that great, I hope that they are still avalialble as regular production like Connie A. 나의 SHV-E300S 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄

shippers
Great review - I have had a couple of each so not really enough to form a solid opinion yet but so far the A is more to my tastes. The B's I have had I have a little boring. Not bad just a bit dull.
Tstew75
There's some Connie B lovers hanging around, but cant say I'm one of them. The pricing is ridiculous vs the A. Also, another 54rg? Ugghh.
