Same Mastercase. Same Box Code (UEBMAY18)

The mastercase was all over the place in terms of quality. 

I know there are some of you who would purchase the box on the left with construction being equal. I wonder how many?

Same price, same construction. You walk into LCDH Partagas and have a choice of both boxes. Which do you pick? (hit the poll )

Wow, even the ribbons are totally different shades! I usually pick lighter wrappers, but based solely on this pic, I may have to jump on the darker ones.

I would choose the right one, because this is not an ordinary wrapper for HdM Ep.2 and it will be interesting to try a different taste. But I agree with BG1165, the left one will like the mass consumer more, and the right one will be “an amateur”

You know as well as I do....Cuba could run out of gold ribbon one day and use a sharpie on a paper towel to wrap the cigars. No problemo senor!

Prefer darker wrappers.  On hoyos.

Both look pretty good and tasty though.

it’s probably lighting, but the left one looks less oily, so i picked the one on the right.

that said, i like light shade wrappers on HDM, so if they had the same sheen, i would have picked the one on the left.

I'm split. If I had to, I'd get one of each and experience how the flavors change over a period of 5-7 years.

Not sure if it's the picture, but the left looks like a lifeless, Connecticut shade wrapper. Not very appealing!
