...and it tasted like a half-decent RASS.

Could of been worse, you could of snagged a stunner, then bought a box of duds

In all serious, gutted for you mate. Always so deflating when you go "go on then you bugger, I'll splash the cash, and give you a go" then you get nada.

At least when this happen, we can go out and buy a TOS box of PLMC for £50 odd quid, and all 25 of them are stunningly good!

It's almost as if the hype, the bling and the arbitrary "EMS" label are all quite vacuous in reality

Hhhm regardless of the cigar itself, which I haven't tried, I think H&F and Jemma Freeman did a wonderful job with the 'bling', in that is wasn't very blingy. I love the cabinet they'd made, as it gave the customer the ability to own something classically styled.

When looked at alongside the standard tacky Habanos Humidors, I know which one I would rather own

Most RA special releases have paled in comparison to the RASS for me. In my twisted little world, it truly is a prime example where a blend and vitola work perfectly together.

Clear exception was that Alemania 898. Bummer on the asking price, but the few I had were already very good and a unique expression.

I’ve smoked quite a few of these now and I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them, and have found them to be quite representative of similarly aged examples of the marca.
