PapaDisco Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Well, I guess it all depends on how well soaked and slicked with saliva the business end of that stick is. Does it have that well-chewed look? Or is it just your basic slimy-brown-tobacco-juice-slurry look? Either one says "come suck on this" to me into
MrGlass Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I've put down a yes, but the reality is that it depends on who it is, the cigar itself, and the condition of the end. I'm not going to bother with an average cigar, or if it looks like they have spent half the time gnawing and slobbering on it. I also tend not to offer my cigars for others to taste either though, unless it's my other half.
DeskSmkr Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 No, no, and no! It doesn’t have to be reasoned out why. Just because!
RupertPupkin Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 This is interesting.. The first time I fell in love with cigars was when I was younger and my old man offered me his Arturo Fuente to try. He had previously only let me cut them, and I was blown away that he was letting me try it.. it’s like the first time your dad offers you a sip of his beer/wine.. The idea of a shared, used cigar didn’t bother me then and to some degree it doesn’t bother me now. I still share puffs with my dad when we get together, and I’ve long since passed the point of sip stealing my dad’s drink. lol friends and family I say, “why not.” Strangers? forget about it! I’ve had people ask to try my cigars and I cringe every time, and politely say “that’s disgusting, no.”
MIKA27 Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I have no issue sharing a cigar to someone who would like to simply try one, but that person would have to be someone like a parent, a child thats grown up and wishes to sample, sure. But to share 'a' cigar amongst 2-5 different people, no way. Looking at that poll, 26% have said yes thus far. WOW and gross.
zeedubbya Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 From a germ standpoint I think I would rather take a drag off someone's cigar (not too wet) than take their cell phone to look at pictures while having dinner. For some reason, the cell phone germs weird me out big time. Even when I hand someone else my cell phone I feel like I’m handing them something gross—and I clean mine off every night! Also, I also voted differently considering we’re talking about a ‘71 PL Magnum. 2017 Party Short—Pass.
earthson Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Heck, yes I would! I adore PL and have always wanted to try a Magnum. Now, for a '14 PLMC - even a stellar one - I would pass on that.
wineguy Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 From my friends I would pass on but I can remember a fine afternoon spent with a gorgeous girl I was dating on my deck in chairs facing each other with our feet on each others chairs sharing a Cohiba Lancero and a bottle of Kosta Brown Pinot. That was a day to remember!
joncat Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I've shared many hand-rolled smokes amongst multiple friends when I was younger. Not cigars or cigarettes though. Never gave it a second thought. Would I share my PSP CC's? No way! Go figure. 1

What is the difference between this and taking a snip of someone else's wine? At least with wine you could shift the glass discreetly so you’re not drinking out of the same spot. Cigars? Hell no.
