I’d certainly leave a ‘mud trail’ if i saw a shark while kayaking I got mean mugged by a 12’ sea lion while fishing over 300’ deep water in Seward, AK (in a 16’ boat). Very nearly ‘mudded’ myself then too.
treberty Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Silly question, but why would you be afraid of a 4m shark chasing you and NOT be afraid of chasing the same 4m shark, just because one of your kayak enthusiast buddies is in sight??? I have zero fishing experience, but common sense would suggest to get to shore asap, especially at dusk...
Bill Hayes Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Great footage. It was a Great White Shark too. Just looked curious but when I saw some of the underwater footage it had it's pectoral fins pointing down which usually means it's being territorial. Sticking close together with the kayaks was a good idea. Sharks like to seperate prey from the pack.

BTWheezy Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Maybe it was just looking for a good deal on some Bolivars...hard to say.
