Danimalia Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Maybe for backpackers or areas where there isn't plentiful wood? I dunno.
MrGlass Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Don't you realise what a bargain this is compared to Artisanal Firewood? 1 1

Islandboy Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Could come in handy if you have to go into lost-in-the-woods survival mode - sounds edible, sort of.

Dear Bear Grylls Picking up forest litter and having a fire is recycling. It also costs 50 dollars less. 1

It also costs 50 dollars less. yes, i edited your post. you can ban me for a decade and it would be worth it not to be in any way linked to that vile idiot woman. and yes, i fully understand forest litter but on what planet do we think that all the world does this when it wants a fire? as i said in response to our friend's post above, not a perfect world. it is a problem. a huge problem in some places (and no, i do not see myself as some sort of angelic force for good - i remember camping with mates and we chopped down the toilet in the camping ground for firewood - well, they did - i would never do that - in fairness, the surrounding trees were hardwood and we had forgotten to get any wood anywhere else - it seemed a good idea at the time). if this goes even a tiny way to alleviating that then it is a good thing. i fully realise that the world is not going to be out there paying $50 a time to use this instead of chopping things down but perhaps this is a start and can be taken further. 1
Ken Gargett Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 and bear grylls has people who do that for him. 1
PigFish Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Idiot: One who buys a campfire in a recyclable box for $50 bucks! Nuff said. -the Pig 1
feral Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 That product seems like a goofy idea to me, but some would consider my hualing dried nicer smelling wood from the city to a forest for a camp fire pretty goofy too.
gweilgi Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Camping is fun? To spend hours driving so I can spend days in the wilderness with no internet access being attacked by marauding bears, sucked dry by vampiric bugs, accidentally wiping my bottom with poison ivy because someone forgot to bring a spare roll of toilet paper, and eating inedible food before turning in to sleep on a pile of rocks is fun? Really? Who knew... 1
