It completely skipped my radar (I only worry about cigars I will actually see in a two year timeframe ;)) but member Paul put me onto this earlier today.

Cabs of 50? I love it but can imagine the mooa that will be asked :o

Ramón Allones will receive a limited release, called the Emperadores Extra. It uses the popular 109 format, a 7 1/4 x 49 Churchill extra with a rounded cap. It will come in boxes of 50

:(

Is anyone in the market for a kidney?

I thought these were coming in a special humidor, not a regular cab? If so, they will probably be even pricier (way pricier). Guessing $5K+.

Will be priced out of my range, unfortunately. Love me some 109s

I think these are going to be an antique humidor limited to 450 pieces.  Probably $4250 here and depending on tobacco taxes 3250 euro up to 5500.

The problem is that humidor! its at least half the asking price of the whole package! they should make a release in regular cabs as well but then it would diminish the value of the limited humidor release and blah blah blah... haha!

The Germany regional will be a 50 cab this year so there is a chance we will see another one.

I'm excited for these. Supposedly PL corona correct?

Churchill extra! wow!!

I hope they're priced just above the Gigantes but...

This would probably a limited edition humidor... :/

Just another cigar that'll be singularly sampled by a fortunate few but which in the full cabinets will quickly disappear into collector's vaults for years & then re-emerge in auctions somewhere down the line. All fair enough, of course, but not a cigar that the ordinary smoker will give much thought to.

It looks... expensive.

To say the least.

US$3k?

Ha!

$6k at the very minimum, depending on local taxes.
