Completely agree. This seems to be for those that have cigars so they can have a humidor, rather than the other way round.

I like the idea of monitoring the humidity and temp of your humidor but there are cheaper, albeit less sexy, tools to do so. And the cloud service needed as well, i would have thought it came free considering the price.

Looks cool, just too expensive.

Well . . . maybe . . . I might be interested.  I'm a simple fella though . . . currently using kitty litter.  Would this keep the cat from pooping on my cigars?:P

That's way too much of an overkill for me. I just use a $30 sensor push. Does most of what that does at a fraction of the price and you don't have to pay an annual fee for the service.

Honestly, this seems like a solution looking for a problem.

I have 4 humidors, all different sizes. I somehow manage to have them all very nicely sitting at 65rh (give or take a %).

This is a nice example of how it can go pear-shaped when programmers take over product design.....

I think it is a cool idea. I don't have that much of a problem with the price of the basic model but the mid-range and high range are ludicrous. Then again we spend crazy money on all sorts of odd things why should this be any different.

What I don't get is even after I buy it, I have to pay a monthly subscription service. That's the killer for me.

I might buy the sensor but I'd never buy it if I have to keep paying month after month after month after month at infinitum.

The hygrometers in my humidors died a year ago and I haven't gotten around to replacing them yet

Couldn't tell you what the RH of any of my humidors are, but I did smoke a Diplo 4 last night that was fantastic, so I think I'm good

It's rubbish.

Where are the vital measurements of the local magnetic field?  How about sunspot activity alerts?  Where is the tie-in to my single malt app?  What do I do with the feed form my humidor cam?  Why is there no micro-vibration sensor feed to alert me to beetle activity?

I like it but I'm a gadget nut.

Only problem is I have like 12 coolers and 3 humidors...so, that's like over $3k in sensors.

Way too high IMO.   I'm in the 60% target range, and happy wih 58-62%
I agree with you. I do 65% for NCs and 62 for CCs. Who keeps their Cubans at 70? Not many at all.

As others have said, I love the idea but for me, the price makes it difficult to justify.

If I had a walk-in humidor in my house, this would be a no brainer (assuming it could handle the entire space).
