Very familiar with the villainy of dentistry myself as of recently! I had my wisdom teeth pulled just over a week ago (after 20 years of delay tactics to avoid the inevitable). I had strict instructions to avoid any cigars for a week or more if I could last that long. I assure the good doctor that I could not last longer if I could even wait a week. Five days in I had my first cigar since the surgery and it was glorious if not a bit nerve-wrecking for fear that I might wind up back in the dentists chair! All’s good, however. Best of luck to whipcrack on the recovery!

well, it looks like we will not be doing the talisman until next year earliest.

whipcrack has just turned up for the video but is incapacitated - never funny to see another human in pain and i have almost stopped laughing. just long enough to mop up his drool from my floor.

i'll leave rob to fill you in on the details but suffice to say that they involve a dentist and needles. as one who had the most miserable christmas and new year imaginable several years ago, thanks to the villiany of dentistry (granted, sans said butchers, i may have had an even worse time), i do have a lot of sympathy.

a shame as i had something a bit smick in the fridge for just this. no matter. next year.

and whipcrack was kind enough to leave a talisman here for me to review in the meantime.

I wish I had enough frequent flyer miles to come and hang out with Ken while Rob is away.  Could you imagine the craziness as Rob is away?  I wonder how many cigars would be thrown at me.
