El Presidente Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 If you are growing a Mo to raise funds during November (Movember), put your details on this thread in order that members can donate should they wish. Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate We don't permit the raising of funds willy nilly on FOH as it becomes a dogs breakfast. However men's health is a topic that should be close to our collective hearts. Great work and Good Luck! 1
HarveyBoulevard Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 I'm 42 and I've had a Van Dyke for 20 years. I don't know what I look like without one. I don't want to know either...I'm guessing there is an extra chin under there somewhere... 2
Habana Mike Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 I'm game to quit trimming next 30 days. Probably end up looking like Sam Elliott on his best day.... 1
Fuzz AI Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 I'll start growing for Movember 2020. Should have something by then. 4
CrankYanker Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 First time I was allowed to do this at work. Being in the banking field it's hard to do. I started not shaving two weeks before. My banking team is looking to raise funds. Pictures to come tomorrow BTW we have already hit our last year number! https://mobro.co/etylerpedersen?mc=1 3
Onelove Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Growing again this year, lost a few people I've been close with and it seems like at least one could've been prevented. If you're growing, great, if you're donating that's good too. This is my team page https://au.movember.com/team/2252545 I'm front and centre in the team photo and the team captain is on my left. We can all help to raise awareness and to make each other comfortable talking about men's health issues openly. Could be depression, prostate cancer or any of the others but being able to talk about it with others could help save a friend's life. 1
